Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Michigan is seeking a friendly server who will greet guests, guide them through the menu, take orders accurately in the POS, and deliver food and beverages with a courteous, timely service.

You will help maintain a clean, safe dining area, manage payments, and anticipate guest needs to create a positive dining experience. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and work flexible evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and interacts with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environment
• Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested
• Take guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule
• Serve food and beverages using the Applebee’s TEAM delivery system
• Pre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortable
• Collect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POS
• Completes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environment
• Anticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience
