Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Michigan is seeking an energetic server who can greet guests, explain menu items, take orders accurately, and deliver food and beverages with a friendly, timely service approach.

You will work in a fast-paced team environment, maintaining cleanliness, anticipating guests’ needs, and handling payments. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required, with physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and ability to exceed guests’ expectations.

• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to be mobile for at least 4 hours and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and interacts with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environment.
• Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested.
• Take guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule.
• Serve food and beverages using the Applebee’s TEAM delivery system.
• Pre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortable.
• Collect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POS.
• Completes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Anticipate guests' needs to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience.
