Job summary

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Michigan seeks a friendly server to delight guests by serving food and beverages, greeting guests warmly, and upholding Applebee’s service standards and TEAM delivery ethos.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, take orders, enter them into the POS, suggest menu items, ensure accurate checks, and help maintain a clean, safe dining area; must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and interacts with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environment
• Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested
• Take guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule
• Serve food and beverages using the Applebee’s TEAM delivery system
• Pre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortable
• Collect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POS
• Completes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environment
• Anticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience
