Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a server in Michigan to delight guests by exceeding expectations, serve food and beverages, and maintain a clean, orderly dining area. You will greet guests, suggest menu options, input orders into the POS, and ensure timely payment and friendly service.

The role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends, plus the ability to be on your feet for extended periods and lift light loads.

Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Greets guests and interacts with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environment
Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested
Take guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule
Serve food and beverages using the Applebee's TEAM delivery system
Pre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortable
Collect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POS
Completes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environment
Anticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience
