Job summary

7th and Grove Hospitality Group is seeking a Server to deliver memorable hospitality in our Tampa dining venue. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure smooth service in a fast-paced environment while promoting specials and maintaining top cleanliness standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate cash handling, and collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure on-time food delivery and guest satisfaction across shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by promptly greeting guests and taking orders with a friendly demeanor.
• Utilize Aloha POS and Micros POS systems to efficiently process transactions and manage orders.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience and boost sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Assist in bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and preparing the dining area for new guests.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Engage with guests to build rapport, address any concerns, and enhance their overall experience.
• Support fellow team members by sharing responsibilities during peak hours to ensure seamless service.
