Job summary

Evolving Solution Services in Tampa, FL is seeking a customer-focused Server to join our hospitality team. The server will take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure accurate, timely, and professional service to guests.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, using the POS system, maintaining menu knowledge, and coordinating with kitchen and service staff to support a smooth dining experience.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in restaurant, banquet, or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication, hospitality, and multitasking skills.
• Able to work quickly and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
• Ability to learn menu items and service procedures.
• Must meet applicable food safety and alcohol-service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, specials, and available beverages.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and verify order accuracy.
• Monitor tables throughout the guest experience and anticipate additional needs.
• Communicate allergies, dietary restrictions, special requests, and guest concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Work closely with food runners, bussers, hosts, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management to support smooth service.
• Process guest checks and payments accurately when applicable.
• Maintain clean and organized tables, service stations, and assigned sections.
• Follow responsible alcohol-service procedures when serving beer or other permitted alcoholic beverages.
• Assist with banquet, event, buffet, and special-service needs as assigned.
• Complete assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work duties.
