Job summary

Zippy’s in Hawaii seeks a friendly WAIT HELP to join our store team. This non-exempt role focuses on courteous guest service throughout the dining experience, greeting guests, taking orders, inputting them into the POS, and processing payments accurately.

You will serve food, refill drinks, bus tables promptly, describe menu items and promotions, and maintain a clean, safe dining area. Prior cash handling and 1 year as a host or server are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a host or server preferred.
• Previous cash handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders, input into POS, and process payments accurately.
• Serve food, refill drinks, and bus tables promptly.
• Describe menu items, promotions, and specials to guests.
• Maintain communication with kitchen staff and update guests on order status.
• Prepare and serve beverages and desserts.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work and guest area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
