Job summary

Restaurant 604 in Hawaii is seeking a host/hostess to provide courteous, prompt guest welcome and seating services. You will manage reservations, phone orders, and the waitlist, while bussing and resetting tables to maintain smooth dining room flow.

Responsibilities include following company policies, maintaining sanitation standards, and upholding uniform and grooming guidelines. Prioritize guest satisfaction and accurate guest seating to ensure a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years old.
Must be able to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
Must demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest satisfaction.
Must be efficient and accurate with money and figures.
Must possess manual ability to manipulate the register system and handle or serve food.

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a courteous, helpful, and prompt manner.
Run the host station: seating guests, maintain floor chart, distribute guests among server sections.
Maintain waitlist, take reservations and phone orders, buss and reset tables.
Monitor table rotation and communicate reservations to management.
