Job summary

Ko’a Kea Hotel & Resort in Hawaii is seeking a friendly, guest-focused team member to deliver warm hospitality and seamless service at the front of house. You will greet guests, answer questions about menu items, assist with reservations, and coordinate with culinary and beverage teams to ensure a memorable dining experience.

Ideal candidates bring strong English communication, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, basic computer and PMS software familiarity, and a professional

Qualifications

• High school education and relevant training and experience required.
• Must have knowledge of all hotel departments and events.
• Excellent communication skills and professional appearance.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain warm, hospitable guest relations in all guest contact.
• Respond to individual guest needs as they occur.
• Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner.
• Answer questions and make suggestions regarding menu item selections, preparations, and beverage recommendations.
• Communicate menu selections to the culinary and beverage teams.
• Compute bill, collect payment, and make change for guests as needed.
• Respond to and resolve all guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
• Protect guest safety and well-being.
