Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group seeks a dedicated team member to support guest relations and kitchen operations at Ko’a Kea Hotel & Resort. You will greet guests, assist the Chef, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards with a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include responding to guest needs, managing setup for shifts, and handling kitchen duties while upholding company policies and professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the English language to communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
• Good mathematical and computer skills.
• Ability to actively listen to others.
• Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical activities requiring use of arms and legs.
• Team player.
• Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking.

Responsibilities

• Maintain warm, hospitable guest relations in all guest contact.
• Respond to individual guest needs as they occur.
• Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner.
• Sweep and Mop floors.
• Keep kitchen area free of trash and debris.
• Wash pots and pans by hand.
• Keep all dishes and flatware in a sanitary condition.
• Handle chemicals for various hotel tasks.
• Assist Chef in receiving and putting away products.
• Respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions politely.
• Complete projects and assignments professionally with care.
• Prepare all set-up items for the next shift.
• Maintain health and safety standards.
