Job summary

MGM Resorts Atlantic City is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and colleagues. You will respond to incidents, monitor alarms and cameras, and support emergency procedures with calm, professional judgment.

The role requires at least 1 year of customer service experience and a high school diploma or GED. Previous security or related experience is preferred. Benefits include healthcare, paid time off, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Customer Service Experience is Required.
• High School Diploma or GED is Required.
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience is Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service to guests and employees and resolve complaints and issues involving both guests and employees.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations, render appropriate first aid to injured persons and following established protocol for reporting injuries.
• Monitor alarm system and surveillance cameras.
• Perform gaming drops/transactions, including carrying drop boxes and chip carriers.
• Act as a dispatcher to relay information, messages and/or emergencies to or from appropriate personnel using telephones or two-way radios. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as property damage, theft, guest or employee accidents, or unusual occurrences.
• Assist in emergency situations by securing the scene to prevent further loss or damage, advise personnel of threats and potential threats, summon emergency responders to the incident, and initiate and conduct evacuation procedures.
