Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Security Officer to protect casino property, patrol facilities, check IDs, assist guests, and respond to emergencies. The role requires strong communication, customer service experience, and the ability to stay alert in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should be 18+, with a high school diploma or equivalent, and hold a valid driver’s license. CPR/First Aid certification is required or must be obtained. Comprehensive benefits and Total Rewards package available.

Qualifications

• Requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Professional demeanor and appearance required.
• Must be able to walk, stand, and move around large casino facilities for long periods.
• Ability to identify and respond to potential problems and conflicts; defend self and others when needed.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification required or must be obtained.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history for driving company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide security for casino property; maintain high visibility and assist during emergencies.
• Patrol parking lots and property.
• Escort duties as needed and monitor crowd flow.
• Check IDs and enforce casino policies for access control.
• Manage I.D. scanning devices and report incidents accurately.
• Dispatch officers and maintain logs; provide court testimony if necessary.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of work areas; adhere to all policies.
