Job summary

Enterprise Center is seeking a Guest Experience Safety Ambassador in St. Louis, MO to ensure a safe, welcoming environment at events while delivering exceptional guest service.

The role involves guiding guests, assisting security and first aid teams, and using radios to maintain clear communication throughout busy venues. The position requires flexibility across shifts, the ability to lift 25 lbs, and comfortable interaction with guests in dynamic event settings.

Qualifications

• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Basic computer skills and access to internet.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Standing: frequent and prolonged periods of standing and walking at events.
• Noise levels are loud and typical of large events; may include lights and smoke machines.
• Comfortable assisting in wheelchair escorts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment by proactively solving any issues that may arise.
• Provide world-class hospitality to guests before, during, and after events.
• Exhibit a friendly, outgoing personality with a desire to serve the company and public.
• Communicate clearly with others; strong interpersonal skills are essential.
• Always display a professional appearance.
• Greet and assist guests with inquiries at all points of contact in a proactive and friendly manner.
• Maintain consistent and attentive use of radios to ensure regular and effective communication.
• Aid with security screening at building entrances.
• Provide directions to guests for all areas of the building.
• Listen to and resolve guest concerns; notify supervisors or managers if needed.
• Familiarize themselves with building layouts, all departments, and guest policies.
• Respond appropriately to guest illness, injury, and emergencies.
• Anticipate guest needs and prevent escalation of issues.
• Deescalate situations as they arise.
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk for extended times.
• Demonstrates confidence and clear communication when using radios.
• Assist with wheelchair escorts when needed.
