Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• In some U.S. states, a food safety certification may be required to serve food or alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Taking guests’ orders.
• Running food.
• Handling cash and other forms of payment using a POS system.
• Checking IDs for guests who appear under 30.
• Demonstrating responsible alcohol service.
• Demonstrating product knowledge and upselling techniques.
• Answering questions accurately and politely.
• Maintaining a clean and organized station, including pre-bussing and side duties.
• Opening and closing duties and station setup/breakdown.
• Directing guests to areas and restrooms.
• Creating memorable experiences and entertaining guests.
