Job summary

Hard Rock Cafe is seeking a Server who will guide guests through a memorable dining experience. You will take orders, run food, handle payments, and support sales with strong product knowledge and suggestive selling.

You’ll check IDs, ensure responsible alcohol service, maintain a clean station, and help with opening/closing duties while delivering memorable experiences and “Raving Fans.”

Responsibilities

• Properly checks I.D.s for guests who appear to be under 30 years old.

• Answering questions accurately and politely.
• Satisfying guest needs by regularly checking back during their experience.
• Maintaining a clean and organized station, including pre-bussing and table maintenance.
• Performing opening, closing and side duties—setting up/breaking down station, refilling condiments, cleaning ashtrays, etc.
• Demonstrating knowledge of all table/station numbers.
• Directing guests to areas and restrooms.
• Creating memorable experiences.
• Entertaining guests to create "Raving Fans."

Job Description

The Server is responsible for taking the guests through the key phase of their Hard Rock experience. As a Hard Rock Cafe Server, you will be assuming the role of tour guide, communicator, decision‑maker, entertainer, memorabilia curator and musician (at heart).

• Taking guests’ orders.
• Running food.
• Handling cash & other forms of payment.
• Making proficient sales transactions - using a point-of-sale system.
• Properly checks I.D.s – for guests who appear to be under 30 years old.

• Satisfying any/all needs of the guests - regularly double checking back with guests throughout their experience.
