Faros Properties in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a full-time on-site Reservations Specialist to support the Greydon House Historic Inns and Guest Houses. You will manage guest reservations, handle communications, and assist with group bookings and events.

This role requires excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and comfort with Excel and other Microsoft tools. Occasional travel to Nantucket 3–4 times per year is expected to become familiar with properties and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field.
• 3+ years in hotel hospitality or guest relations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Willingness to travel to Nantucket 3–4 times per year.

Responsabilités

• Manage guest reservations from initial contact to arrival.
• Assist guests with special requests and pre-arrival details.
• Handle daily emails, phone calls, and administrative tasks.
• Maintain calendars, contracts, rooming lists, and docs.
• Support inquiries about hotel buyouts, weddings, and events.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, pricing information, and materials.
• Update rates and availability across booking channels.
• Monitor market conditions and competition.
• Coordinate with Nantucket team on reservations and groups.
• Travel to Nantucket 3–4 times per year to inspect properties.
