Job summary

Soho House & Co. is seeking a friendly Host to greet members and guests, answer calls, and create reservations for clubs and F&B. The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a warm, professional demeanor to ensure a superior welcome from arrival to departure.

The Host will train reception team members, master phone systems, and help manage seating and service standards during busy periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• OpenTable and MICROS experience required.
• Ability to answer high-volume phone lines professionally and timely.
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests by name and assist with reservations.
• Answer high-volume calls with accurate information on menus, hours, and services.
• Create and manage reservations for clubs/restaurants and events.
• Maintain friendly, accurate and discreet interactions with guests.
• Collaborate with the reception team to ensure seamless service.
• Build relationships and relay feedback to management for service improvement.
• Support a positive, professional atmosphere and assist as needed.
