Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Host in Palm Springs to welcome members and guests, answer calls, and create reservations for Club and F&B operations. You will work with the reception team to ensure seamless service and accurate seating, while maintaining a warm, professional demeanor.

The role requires at least 3 years in similar hospitality roles, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years in a similar role.
• Must have OpenTable and MICROS experience.
• Experience answering high-volume phone lines professionally and timely.
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, welcome by name where possible, and assist with seating.
• Answer high-volume phone lines and handle reservations, hours of operation, and inquiries for clubs, restaurants, and venues.
• Create reservations and assist managers on service standards and execution.
• Maintain friendly, accurate, and discreet communication in all interactions.
• Collaborate with reception to ensure exceptional service and manage guest expectations.
• Build relationships with members/guests and report feedback to management.
• Contribute to a positive atmosphere by being approachable and professional.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
