Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate to provide exceptional guest service in our store. You will greet guests, assist with daily tasks, and upsell awareness of promotions while using handheld scanners and the Target App.

You should enjoy helping others and be comfortable working nights, weekends, and peak times. We offer training, a welcoming team environment, and opportunities to learn about loyalty programs and store services.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate service culture and meet service standards.
• Greet guests and assist with daily tasks.
• Engage guests to resolve needs and provide solutions.
• Highlight current promos, store activities and events.
• Know store tools, products, and services to resolve issues.
• Explain Target Loyalty benefits and assist with sign-up.
• Scan and bag items accurately; follow food safety and store policies.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy.
• Explain features of the Target App (Wallet) to guests.
• Explain Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering to guests.
• Follow returns prompts and escalate with Leaders when needed.
• Maintain a clean, stocked work area and handle merchandise safely.
• Support guest services and comply with applicable policies.
