Job summary

The Fresh Market in Macon, GA seeks a Guest Service Specialist to lead front-end hospitality, manage guest flow and cash operations, and uphold cash office controls. You will model excellence, efficiency, and teamwork to ensure every guest leaves with an exceptional impression.

With 2+ years in retail or hospitality, you will educate guests, support cashiers, handle inventories, and maintain front-end standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be a visible example of hospitality, educating guests and team members on products and services.
• Manage frontend guest flow and efficiency by directing and supporting cashiers while ensuring backups are minimized.
• Execute and uphold cash office procedures and controls, including management of cash, keys, and the safe.
• Direct the guest service team as scheduled to maintain sanitation and cleanliness at the front end and guest restrooms.
• Support execution of digital fulfillment orders, ensuring speed, accuracy, and adherence to brand standards.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach at the front-end and throughout the store.
• Assist in managing the department, inventories, and team for effective minimization of product loss.
