Chipotle Mexican Grill in Rockaway, NJ, is seeking a Service Leader to sustain a positive guest experience by ensuring safe, quality food and a well-trained crew. The role requires standing on the line, prioritizing tasks, and supporting daily operations to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

You will lead front-of-house staff, monitor shifts, train crew, assist with performance reviews, and help develop future Service Leaders while upholding cash handling and food safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety: hand washing, glove changes, temperature checks, shelf-life monitoring, and daily safety checklists.
• Resolve customer incidents and foster positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shifts, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train front-of-house Crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews and develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration and paperwork.
