Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Bound Brook, NJ is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high-quality food and that the restaurant crew is well trained and ready to serve. You will keep a clean, organized front line with properly functioning line equipment and support crew through training and scheduling.

The role requires hands-on leadership, cash handling experience, and commitment to food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Be able to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Have knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Have familiarity with office paperwork.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Making sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Helping to resolve food quality issues.
• Supporting food safety (hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature checks, shelf life, Daily Food Safety Checklist).
• Helping to resolve customer incidents and ensuring positive experiences.
• Monitoring crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Developing and cross training all front of house crew.
• Assisting with crew performance reviews and with future leaders.
• Assisting with office administration tasks and paperwork.
• Ensuring office equipment works and supplies are ordered.
