Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader in New Jersey to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high-quality food is prepared and served. You will keep a clean, organized line, train crew members, and be on your feet clocked in, stepping in to help with tasks when business slows.

You’ll develop and cross-train front-of-house crews, participate in performance reviews, assist with office duties and banking policies, and ensure supplies and equipment are in good order.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Understanding and articulation of Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety: hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature checks, shelf lives, and Daily Food Safety Checklist.
• Help resolve customer incidents to ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house Crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties, including banking policies and paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment and supplies are in good order.
