Job summary

Impact Kitchen in New York is seeking a Guest Experience Team Lead (GETL) to uphold high hospitality standards and build a strong sense of community. You will guide the front-of-house team, train new staff, and ensure timely beverage preparation across coffee, espresso, tonics, and wellness drinks.

You will mentor teammates, support management in daily operations, and have opportunities to advance toward an Assistant Manager role.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of team leadership experience.
• NY Food Handlers Certificate is required.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Leading and training the Guest Experience Team.
• Ensuring a best-in-class experience for new hires on their first day and during training.
• Ensuring all beverages are prepared per menu and customer specs (coffee, espresso, tonics, tea, wellness drinks).
• Able to execute and train on all Front of House roles to support a smooth service.
• Dialing espresso grinders daily and monitoring espresso quality.
• Accurately inputting orders through POS to ensure efficient communication with service lines.
• Setting up and closing barista and smoothie stations; maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Provide advanced coaching to team members and support management with operations.
