Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Guest Service Department Lead in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. You will support the Guest Service Department Manager, lead a team with care, and ensure every guest feels welcome while maintaining department standards.

You will coach staff, manage schedules, and uphold hospitality excellence across the store. This role emphasizes teamwork, guest experience, and operating with integrity.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, restaurants, hotels, or general business.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Proven ability to deliver an exceptional guest experience while meeting performance goals.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Help monitor labor schedules to meet productivity and budget goals.
• Execute and uphold cash office procedures and controls including cash, keys and the safe.
• Act as a resource for team members and guide in the manager’s absence.
• Model and coach hospitality by engaging guests and creating positive experiences.
• Assist in merchandising strategies and promotional plans to maximize sales and profitability.
• Analyze department financial and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with department leaders to drive store success.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively.
