The Fresh Market is seeking a Center Store Department Lead in Florida to support the Center Store Department Manager and lead the team in delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will help supervise labor, inventory, and merchandising, while coaching staff to perform at a high level.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets or retail.
• Ability to coach and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest-service skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Proficient with POS systems, scheduling tools, and MS Office.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labor schedules to meet productivity and budget goals.
• Maintain inventory levels, minimize shrink, and support ordering.
• Serve as acting manager in the absence of the Center Store Department Manager.
• Model hospitality and engage guests to create positive experiences.
• Contribute to merchandising plans to drive sales and profitability.
• Analyze department metrics and collaborate with department leaders.
• Leverage technology to perform daily tasks efficiently.
