University of Georgia in Savannah area is hiring a Guest Experience Coordinator (Part-Time) to provide exceptional customer service to visitors and enhance the guest experience at the Coastal Botanical Gardens. The role requires clear information delivery, prompt responses to inquiries, and collaboration on events and cross-department initiatives.

The position is part-time (19 hours per week) with weekday, evening, and weekend availability; involves indoor and some outdoor work, and may include

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to learn and share information about the Gardens.

Responsibilities

Greets guests and provides information about facilities, events, and exhibits.
Monitors guest feedback and suggests improvements to management.
Responds promptly to inquiries and resolves complaints.
Escalates issues to management with timely, appropriate follow-up.
Assists with special events and cross-department projects involving guest experience.
Supports the Event Coordinator as needed.
Organizes and maintains a presentable lobby and stocks marketing materials.
Assists with gift shop inventory stocking and pricing.
Maintains guest resources such as maps and self-guided brochures.
