Job summary

Atlanta Botanical Garden is seeking a Guest Experience Associate for the upcoming season in Atlanta, GA. You will greet guests, answer questions, direct visitors, and scan tickets to ensure proper entry.

This temporary role runs mid-October through January 10 and requires excellent communication, reliability, and the ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays while maintaining a festive atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 6 months experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must understand, read, write, and speak the English language.
• Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with coworkers.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly verbal welcome.
• Provide guests with information about memberships, ticket prices, schedules, and garden events.
• Provide directions to food and merchandise venues, offices, and events.
• Communicate correct product information to guests regarding coupons, offers, and events.
• Scan tickets upon entry and ensure proper ticket usage.
• Interact with guests while maintaining a festive atmosphere.
• Maintain a clean working environment and alert MOD of lighting outages.
• Assist in other areas of the department throughout the garden.
