Job summary

The Fresh Market in Toledo is seeking a Guest Service Specialist to serve as the store’s front-end point person for hospitality, guest flow, and cash operations. You’ll lead by example, ensuring efficiency, merchandising front-end displays, and maintaining cash office controls for an exceptional guest experience.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in retail/grocery/hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be a visible example of hospitality, educating guests and team members on products and services.
• Manage frontend guest flow and efficiency by directing and supporting cashiers.
• Execute and uphold cash office procedures and controls, including cash handling and safekeeping.
• Direct the guest service team to maintain sanitation and cleanliness at the front end and restrooms.
• Support the execution of digital fulfillment orders with speed and accuracy.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach at the front-end and store.
• Assist in managing inventory and team to minimize product loss.
