Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Guest Service Specialist to serve as the store’s front-end point person for hospitality, guest flow and cash operations. You’ll lead by example, maintain efficient front-end displays, and ensure cash office controls are executed to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and consistent execution of standards, with a pay range of $18.19 - $19.40 per hour and a path for growth within store operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be a visible example of hospitality and educate guests and team members on products and services.
• Manage frontend guest flow and assist cashiers to ensure smooth checkout.
• Uphold cash office procedures and controls including cash, keys, and the safe.
• Lead the guest service team as scheduled to maintain sanitation and cleanliness.
• Support digital fulfillment orders with speed, accuracy.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach.
• Help manage department inventories and minimize product loss.
