Job summary

Hampton Inn- Burbank is seeking a part-time Front Desk Associate to deliver friendly, professional guest service, perform check-in/check-out, and act as MOD when scheduled. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handle phone inquiries, and upsell room options.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, fluent English, comfort with computers and typing, and the ability to stand for long periods. Weekend and holiday shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent English required.
• Strong computer and typing skills; tech-savvy.
• Stand for long periods behind the desk and front office areas.
• Carrying or lifting items up to 50 pounds.
• Handling objects, products, and computer equipment.
• Willing to work weekends, and/or holidays, and multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly, courteous, and professional guest service.
• Assist with check-in/check-out of hotel guests in a timely manner.
• Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD) when scheduled.
• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on services and local area.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously; upsell rooms when possible.
• Proficient use of the Property Management System and brand trainings.
• Maintain hotel operating procedures and process transactions accurately.
• Respond to guest complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Support other duties such as breakfast setup, room tours, data entry, and reports.
