Burlington Stores, Inc. in New Orleans is hiring a Full-Time Customer Experience Lead to drive a positive shopping experience while supporting store leadership and front-end operations.

You will lead by example, coach associates, and ensure tasks on the sales floor are completed efficiently. This hands-on leadership role requires a strong service mindset, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience preferred (off-price, big box, or specialty retail is a plus).
• Strong customer service mindset and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver excellent customer service across the store.
• Support and coordinate daily front-end operations, including checkout flow and line management.
• Direct associates during shifts, adjusting priorities to meet business needs.
• Ensure fast, friendly, and accurate transactions (sales, returns, exchanges).
• Help resolve customer concerns and elevate issues when needed.
• Ensure workload tasks, recovery, and merchandising standards are completed.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties as assigned.
• Support proper scheduling of breaks and front-end coverage.
• Troubleshoot routine register or transaction issues to minimize disruptions.
• Partner with store leadership to identify service or execution opportunities.
• Assist with merchandise flow and maintain organization in stock and support areas.
• Reinforce company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
