Job summary

MGM Resorts International, Park MGM's Primrose & Room Service, seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee daily restaurant and guest-room dining operations. You will craft floor plans, supervise service, evaluate staff, and coordinate with chefs to meet guest needs.

You’ll manage purchasing, inventory, and supplier communications, ensuring freshness and quality while delivering WOW experiences to guests and teammates alike.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience in F&B management.
• Experience in room service or high-volume restaurant environment preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Make daily floor plans per shift to ensure proper rotation and coverage of stations.
• Supervise floor service in dining rooms during hours of operation.
• Perform employee evaluations and manage attendance records.
• Maintain communication with the Chef on food service and menu issues.
• Coordinate with management, chefs and culinary staff to address guest needs.
• Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing; prepare requisitions.
• Keep inventory form and stocking area updated.
• Inspect food for freshness and quality from support departments.
• Maintain communication with guests for special requests and large reservations.
