Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas seeks a Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily operations of assigned housekeeping areas, supervise and train staff, and ensure compliance with department standards to deliver exceptional guest experience.

You will conduct inspections of rooms and public areas, balance workloads, lead daily briefings with room attendants and house persons, and provide feedback to maintain top cleanliness and guest satisfaction across our resort properties in Las Vegas.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience required.
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of assigned area.
• Supervise, train, direct, and assist all employees assigned to the area.
• Distribute workload fairly and evenly to those assigned to the station.
• Conduct daily briefing and schedule meetings with Guest Room Attendants and House Persons.
• Ensure cleanliness of rooms, hallways, lockers, and lobbies; ensure all work is done properly.
• Perform daily written guest room inspections in accordance with department standards.
• Perform frequent visual inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
• Monitor work productivity and communicate any area below standards to the Executive Assistant Housekeeper.
• Counsel and discipline employees that violate policies; provide regular feedback.
