Job summary

The Mather in Tysons, Virginia is seeking a friendly Lead Host to ensure residents and guests have a positive dining experience. You will greet guests, assist with seating, manage the reservations system, and help coordinate themed meals and events.

This full-time role requires weekend, weeknight, and holiday availability. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, 401(k) matching, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a dining service environment.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and to make independent decisions.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledgeable with technology.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes residents and guests with a smile and welcoming demeanor.
• Assists with seating while maximizing dining room space and facilitates timely service.
• Oversees quick and efficient reset of restaurant.
• Manages Reservation system including taking and canceling reservations, managing walk ins and waitlist.
• Creates meaningful moments in the lives of residents, visitors, and staff by demonstrating welcoming and friendly behaviors.
