Job summary

The Mather in Tysons, Virginia, is hiring a full-time Lead Host to ensure residents and guests have a positive dining experience. Lead Host greets residents, family members, guests, and staff with a friendly demeanor, assists with seating, and monitors service to maintain dining standards.

The role requires weekend, weeknight, and holiday availability. The position offers hourly pay in the $22-$25 range plus a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities to contribute to quality assurance

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in a dining service environment.
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledgeable with technology.

Responsibilities

Greets and welcomes residents and guests with a smile and welcoming demeanor.
Assists with seating while maximizing dining room space and facilitates timely service.
Oversees quick and efficient reset of restaurant.
Manages Reservation system including taking and canceling reservations, managing walk ins and waitlist.
Creates meaningful moments in the lives of residents, visitors, and staff by demonstrating welcoming and friendly behaviors.
