Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Las Vegas seeks a detail‑oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to manage guest room assignments and oversee housekeeping operations for the Renaissance property. You will coordinate room allocations, supervise Guest Room Attendants, and ensure service standards are met.

Strong organizational and communication skills are required, with experience supervising housekeeping staff. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and superior guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required. College coursework in related field helpful.
• Two to three years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Print the Housekeeping report, VIP report, and check for any room discrepancy to correct on the system.
• Assign rooms to Guest Room Attendants according to the staffing guide, ensuring the room credits assigned meet the criteria established on the LSOP Rooms/Credits.
• Ensure all room/guest specific request is clearly marked on the assignment sheet (e.g. feather free, late check out, VIP).
• Answers housekeeping office phones, recording all messages on the log sheet and dispatch messages to the front desk.
• Record all facilities/maintenance work orders and log it on Guestware.
• Assign, replace, remove, and/or change rooms as necessary to ensure GRAs complete their credits and all the rooms get covered.
• Check on the occupancy forecast, to accommodate/modify the schedule to ensure appropriate coverage will occur the next day.
• Maintain key control and oversee daily assignment of duties.
• Inspect VIP rooms and report availability to Front Office in absence of supervisors.
• Oversee closing of floors, ensure carts are clean and restocked.
• Ensure records of daily assignments are completed and filed.
