Job summary

Providence Hospitality Partners is seeking a friendly Restaurant Host to greet arriving guests, seat them promptly and set a welcoming tone for the dining experience. You will coordinate with servers, manage reservations, and maintain a clean, organized dining room.

The role emphasizes attentive guest service, clear communication, and the ability to stay calm during peak hours. Previous host/restaurant experience is preferred, with English fluency and a willingness to uphold our service

Qualifications

Ability to comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations, promotional materials, event orders and similar written materials.
Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to handle stressful situations in a friendly and positive manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must speak proficient English.

Responsibilities

Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer seating options and escort to tables.
Present menus and coordinate seating with servers to optimize dining flow.
Maintain log books, reservations records and communicate between shifts.
Ensure dining room setup is proper and tables are ready for service.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
