Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking a personable Host/Hostess to greet guests, escort them to tables, and manage seating to ensure a smooth dining experience. You will coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to align timing with guest flow, and you will handle reservations and private party staffing to maintain exceptional service.

• You are the first point of contact for guests.
• Making guests feel comfortable and attended to is core to the role.
• Handling special requests and managing waiting lists.
• Positive attitude and empathy are essential.
• Knowledge of Restaurant Flow & Basic Systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort to table, and present menus.
• Ensure entry doors are clean, inviting, and welcoming.
• Maintain menus and inform servers of location and reservations.
• Coordinate seating chart and manage reservations for the evening.
• Coordinate with reservations and kitchen to ensure availability.
• Ensure proper staffing for private parties and events.
• Verify menu items are available with the kitchen.
• Maintain communication with servers, managers, and kitchen for timing.
• Greet guests leaving to ensure memorable experience and obtain feedback.
• Address guest concerns promptly by notifying a manager.
