Job summary

Omni Bedford Springs is seeking a professional Host to deliver guest-focused service in our fine dining venue. You will greet guests, manage reservations, seat guests and uphold service standards across FOH operations with a friendly, professional demeanor.

The role requires knowledge of food and beverage basics, flexible hours including nights and weekends, and strong communication to resolve guest concerns quickly while maintaining a pristine dining environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on food and beverage knowledge and broad hospitality understanding.
• Minimum host experience in a fine dining setting preferred.
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service, friendly demeanor and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain service standards and ensure compliance with hotel standards and laws.
• Prepare for health department and Ecosure inspections.
• Answer phone, manage reservations, seat guests and greet guests.
• Keep host stand and guest entrance organized; ensure table cleanliness.
• Adhere to trash procedures and maintain hotel assets.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings and support events.
• Deliver high-quality table sets and responsive guest service.
• Communicate guest needs to management and resolve issues.
• Keep knowledge of local offerings and entertainments.
• Engage and treat co-workers with respect.
