OfCorsica, a Mediterranean restaurant by City Winery, seeks a friendly Host to welcome guests and manage reservations with warmth and efficiency. You will help ensure smooth seating, effective communication between front-of-house and management, and a positive start to every guest experience.

The role emphasizes staying informed about menu offerings and events to assist guests and upsell where appropriate, while maintaining cleanliness at the host stand and entrance.

Formación

• 1+ year experience in a host or customer-facing hospitality role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and confident, welcoming demeanor.

Responsabilidades

• Greet guests warmly on arrival with a polished, welcoming demeanor.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, waitlists, and seating using the reservation system.
• Balance seating flow between guest demand, servers, and kitchen pacing.
• Communicate accurate wait times and updates to guests courteously.
• Assist with inquiries by phone and support reservation requests professionally.
• Coordinate with servers, bussers, and managers to support service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and order at the host stand, entrance, and waiting areas.
• Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return.
