Radisson Hotel Group in Kalamazoo is seeking a Host to warmly welcome guests, manage the host stand, and ensure seating flows smoothly in a fast-paced dining environment. This role requires a friendly demeanor and the ability to multitask while maintaining a polished presence.

You will coordinate with servers and leadership, assist with takeout orders, uphold safety and cleanliness standards, and help create memorable guest experiences through proactive, polished service.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and guests with warmth and professionalism, maintaining a welcoming presence at the host stand and throughout dining areas.
• Assists with reservations, seating requests, wait times, accommodations, and anticipates guest needs to enhance the overall dining experience.
• Manages reservations and table flow, ensuring the dining room is inspected, prepared, and paced effectively for service.
• Coordinates with servers, bartenders, and leadership to support smooth seating, section rotation, and service execution.
• Takes and enters to-go orders accurately in the POS system, ensuring orders are assembled, checked, and delivered with care.
• Supports service operations by assisting with opening, reset, and closing procedures, clearing tables, and maintaining a clean, polished environment.
• Communicates member preferences, concerns, and feedback promptly and respectfully to leadership.
• Upholds food safety standards, cleanliness, and professionalism, addressing spills, breakage, or disruptions discreetly.
• Participates in staff meetings, pre-service huddles, and training sessions to reinforce service and safety standards.
