Job summary

Live! Casino is seeking a friendly Host to warmly welcome guests, guide seating, and coordinate with the dining team in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

You will greet patrons at the door, manage seating charts, handle reservations, and ensure compliance with gaming regulations while maintaining excellent guest relations. This role requires flexible nights and weekends and a commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be RAMP certified.
• Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Reading and writing abilities are frequently utilized, often when recording and reviewing reservations and table assignment system.
• Must be able to read, review and understand seating charts.
• Basic mathematical skills are used frequently.
• High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent work experience in a high volume, service focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they arrive at the facility and thank them for their patronage upon departure.
• If a party has special needs or requests accommodations, the host ensures the group's requirements are met.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory controls and the State Gaming Agency.
• Answer the phones and take messages/reservations.
• Maintain an accurate wait when necessary.
• Occasional bussing of tables when needed to expedite efficient seating of waiting guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests, employees and third parties to reflect the venue and brand.
