Job summary

Square One Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Host to warmly welcome guests and ensure a smooth dining experience. You will manage the waiting list, seat guests, present menus, and coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain efficient table turnover.

Ideal candidates have 16+ years old with strong customer service and multitasking skills, and basic cash handling experience. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly attitude.
• Manage waiting list and seating to maximize capacity and minimize wait times.
• Maintain a clean, inviting entrance area.
• Communicate wait times clearly and update guests as needed.
• Escort guests to tables, present menus, and highlight specials.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Monitor dining areas and ensure timely table turnover.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and escalate to management when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, ingredients, and allergens.
• Assist with cashiering duties and processing payments.
