Job summary

Square One Concepts, Inc. is seeking a friendly Host to be the first point of contact and ensure a warm, efficient dining experience. You will greet guests, manage the waitlist, seat parties, and coordinate with servers to maximize seating and guest satisfaction.

You should have strong communication, multitasking, and a willingness to learn, with a valid Food Handlers Certification. Flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and dining discounts are part of our benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive with a friendly attitude.
• Manage waiting list and seating to maximize capacity and minimize wait times.
• Escort guests to tables, present menus, and inform them of specials.
• Coordinate reservations and communicate wait times to guests.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff for smooth turnover.
• Maintain a clean, organized entrance and assist cashiering as needed.
• Stay informed on promotions and offerings to provide accurate information.
• Respond to guest inquiries and escalate issues when necessary.
