Square One Concepts, Inc. is seeking a personable Host to welcome guests and ensure a smooth dining experience. You will manage the waitlist, coordinate seating, and maintain an inviting entrance while providing accurate wait times and promotions information.

Responsibilities include assisting with reservations, guiding guests to tables, and collaborating with servers and kitchen staff to maintain efficient turnover. Prior hospitality experience and strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Manage the waiting list and seating arrangements to maximize seating capacity and minimize wait times.
• Maintain a clean and organized entrance area, ensuring it is inviting and presentable for guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and accurately estimate wait times, providing them with updates as needed.
• Assist in coordinating reservations, ensuring all relevant information is recorded accurately.
• Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and informing them of daily specials and promotions.
• Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient table turnover.
• Monitor dining areas to ensure tables are cleaned and prepared for the next guests in a timely manner.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant's menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergen information.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene throughout the restaurant, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the management team to improve guest satisfaction, resolve conflicts, and implement service enhancements.
• Assist with cashiering duties, including handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Stay updated on current promotions, events, and offerings to provide accurate information to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management team to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.
