Job summary

Hyatt Regency Phoenix is seeking a friendly Greeter to welcome guests, seat them promptly, and help create a positive first impression in our full-service restaurant.

You will assist servers, ensure a courteous, efficient dining experience, and maintain a polished appearance in brand-approved uniform and name tag. Strong communication and a guest-first attitude are essential. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are required as part of a dynamic hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and promptly recognize all guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Escort guests to their assigned tables, ensuring efficient seating arrangements.
• Assist servers by providing support throughout the guests’ dining experience to ensure attentive, courteous, and efficient service.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming environment by approaching all interactions with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag as per brand standards.
