Job summary

Outback Steakhouse is part of Out West Restaurant Group, the largest franchisee of Outback Steakhouse, seeking a Host/Server Assistant. You will greet guests, seat them, and support service staff with a focus on a welcoming guest experience and menu knowledge.

Responsibilities include coordinating seating, upselling menu items, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. This role emphasizes teamwork and delivering memorable hospitality experiences.

Responsibilities

• Make a memorable first and last impression for Guests.
• Greet Guests, seat them in dining and bar areas, and hand off to service staff smoothly.
• Coordinate wait times and seating with urgency.
• Maintain a genuine, welcoming conversation with Guests.
• Know the menu to recommend and upsell items.
• Answer phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Assist with bussing tables, delivering food and beverages, and supporting Guests as needed.
• Lead the lobby experience following Outback hospitality standards.
• Adhere to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards.
