Job summary

Outback Steakhouse in Las Vegas is seeking a Host/Server Assistant to create memorable guest experiences and support service staff. You will greet guests, seat them, answer questions about the menu, and help with bussing and delivering items.

A strong emphasis on hospitality, teamwork, and upselling is required. The role offers on-site employment with opportunities to grow within the Out West Restaurant Group, the largest franchisee of Outback Steakhouse.

Qualifications

• Greet guests and seat them promptly in dining and bar areas.
• Provide friendly, attentive service and upsell menu items.
• Answer phones promptly and direct calls to the appropriate staff.
• Assist with bussing tables and delivering food and drinks as needed.
• Maintain hospitality standards and ensure a clean, welcoming lobby experience.

Responsibilities

• Make a memorable first and last impression for every guest.
• Greet and seat guests, coordinating with service staff for smooth handoffs.
• Maintain a sense of urgency in seating and serving guests.
• Be knowledgeable about the menu to answer questions and upsell items.
• Communicate clearly with team to ensure guest satisfaction and WOW moments.
• Support other restaurant tasks as needed to maintain smooth operations.
