Job summary

Outback Steakhouse in Henderson, NV is hiring a Host/Server Assistant. You will greet guests, seat them, and hand off seamlessly to service staff while maintaining a welcoming, energetic atmosphere.

You will support bussing tables, deliver food and bar drinks, assist guests, answer calls, and contribute to WOW moments with a friendly, genuine approach. Training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs; able to work in hot and cold environments.
• Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods of time.
• California-based positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required (can be completed during training, and up to 60 days after start date)

Responsibilities

• Making a memorable first and last impression.
• Greeting incoming and departing Guests in a welcoming manner; seating guests in dining and bar areas, ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff.
• Coordinating the wait and seating Guests with urgency.
• Always smiling and engaging with Guests.
• Know and upsell items from the menu.
• Answers the phone in a prompt and professional manner and directs calls.
• Team player; bussing tables, delivering food and bar beverages, assisting guests, supporting WOW moments.
• Leads the lobby experience following Outback hospitality standards.
• Committed to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards during the shift
